Forest Park Aquatic Center Renovations

Thanks to a generous donation from the City of Noblesville, major improvements and renovations to the Forest Park Aquatic Center are underway, upgrading and enhancing the visitor experience. View the Project 2020 renovations below.

  • Added new permanent pool stairs on the North and South ends of the competition pool. South stairs are ADA compliant with transition steps.
  • Repaired all existing pool ladders.
  • Added new basketball goal
  • Added new Aqua Zip’N
  • Repaired rock wall and will put back into operation
  • Partnered with Parks Department on Civic Rec program
  • Remove fiberglass stairs and install new RecStep polyethylene stairs.
  • Replace pump, strainer and piping. Install in new PVC enclosure
  • Replace support columns (union Iron workers)
  • Sand and clean galvanized support structure. Paint with sealant to prevent rusting.
  • Replacement showers (5 in each locker room, others capped off)
  • New/repairs to toilets and sinks
  • New LED lighting
  • Entire building painted
  • New epoxy flooring
  • Reopening of exterior restrooms (closed since 2003)
  • New hand driers, mirrors, soap dispensers, changing tables, etc.
  • Added electrical circuits in concession stand and replacement of security door.
  • Replaced all awnings (curb appeal)
  • All picnic tables and benches were repainted.
  • New sound system from Blades Audio
  • Speakers vs. horns. Very clear
  • Wireless microphone
  • Partnership with City of Noblesville for streaming service (same used on square and in other parks)
  • Replaced sections of concrete in front of main building (good start).
  • Removed fence posts and conduits.
  • Added a portion of concrete near diving pool.
  • Professionally pressure washed entire pool deck surface.
  • Trimmed back all trees (concrete mold and mosquitos)
  • Repaired stadium lights
  • Replaced photocell
  • Added circuits through the facility
  • Repaired exterior light circuitry
  • Removed and replaced clock
  • Replaced all exit lighting
  • Removed fence around grass area making this area available to patrons
  • Partnered with Parks Department on landscaping and grass cutting
  • Designed and purchased windscreens (some digitally printed)
  • Enlarged gates and enclosed exterior restrooms
  • Pool has been prepared for painting and will be completely repainted
  • Center waterflow feature repaired and painted
  • Leapin’ Lizzy was sent to a fiberglass shop, repaired and completely repainted
  • Padding at the bottom of Leapin’ Lizzy replaced.
  • New electric heater was added.
  • Main drain cover was replaced
  • Diving platforms and board supports were all professionally repainted
  • Decks were repaired and sealed
  • Replaced all pool gutter grates
  • Repaired plumbing in pool gutters
  • Inspection of Splash Pad with proposal to fix/replace in additional phase.
